Clear Tiny Treat Boxes

These clear gift boxes are my go-to for packaging small items and treats for gifts. And come Christmas time they are a great way to say thank you to the special people in your life.

This box is made using the gorgeous Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper - this paper is just stunning - the gold foiling is so striking and right on trend! The design is on one side only which is perfect for box making and packaging.

You might not have noticed but there actually isn't any stamping on this project! The round snowflake detail is actually cut straight out of the designer paper. The gold trim around the box is washi tape.

Inside this box I have put the co-ordinating Year of Cheer Washi tape but it is also big enough for jewellery, a few lindt chocolates, tiny jam jar, candle etc.

Christmas Cards

I have had alot of fun making Christmas cards lately, playing with all my new goodies. The Holiday catalogue is jam packed with the most inspiring projects. Add to that all the blogs and Pinterest that keep catching my eye my mind was working overtime.

I like to get a head start of my Christmas projects so I don't have a last minute rush/panic (although that seems to always happen anyway!) November and December are already filling up with end of year activities, sports, travel, graduation and birthdays.

For this batch of cards I chose to showcase the Carols of Christmas These were quick and easy to put together as I mainly used the focal sentiments of the set. Just adding some designer series paper, some die cut images and ribbon makes these easy to mass produce and easy to mail.

I will be running a stamp-a-stack class on Sunday 22nd October if you are interested in getting a stash of Christmas cards done. I'll post more once I finalise the details.
