Melbourne 2017 Onstage Swaps

I have just returned from an amazing weekend at a Stampin Up event called Onstage. Every 6 months demonstrators are able to attend a full day event where we can catch up with friends old and new, see new products and catalogues ands be inspired by the fabulous creations everyone makes. Each time it is at different venues all over the world!

I was so excited to be able to go to Melbourne and meet up with 2 of my team. So grateful that we could catch up in Melbourne when we live all over Australia!!

It is a tradition that we take 'swaps' - a project that we make either a card, bookmark, small 3D item etc to swap. It's a great way to get new ideas and always lots of fun!

These are the swaps I made - they are scissor or phone charms. All the charms were different so people could pick the one that most suited them. They seemed to be well received too - I ran out quite quickly!!

The colours I used are Night of Navy and Berry Burst and probably my favourite designer series paper at the moment - Naturally Eclectic. I made the packaging just wide enough to fit into our clear cello bags then trimmed the top down and folded it over. The sentiment comes from Eastern Beauty stamp set. I used the circle framelits to crop it out.

I have heaps of swaps to show you this week once I get unpacked and back into a routine so stay tuned!
