More cute animals!

Here is another one of my displays for my launch party showcasing the animal outing bundle. The designer series paper is just so cute!

And here is a close up of the card I made. I totally cased this card from one I saw online (but I cannot seem to find the creator now) as my order arrived a little later than I expected and I was keen to get some samples done for my launch party.  The leaf background paper is from the share what you love specialty designer series paper. The stitched circle and heart are from a new framelit called Stitched Labels - LOVE this!

Click on any of the images below to head over to my shop for all the supplies I used.

It's a purple Octopus!

How fun is this octopus! He is a part of the Sea of Textures bundle - a super fun range of sea life, shells, textures and words.

The coordinating dies make it simple to cut out a bunch of shapes and patterns in various colours to build a beachy scene.

Today's card is a totally fun take on the octopus. I love that he can be any colour I choose. As I am still besotted with this highland heather and had a few scraps of it on my desk off I went. I saw a similar card made by the amazing Jackie Aitken on pinterest and loved the stamped background. Stamping an image in thee same colour as the cardstock gives a lovely tone on tone look adding a bit of colour and interest but not so much that it detracts from the focal image/s.

I punched out vellum circles in 2 sizes to mimic bubbles. The sentient comes from the same set and I have stamped it in white ink. Perhaps in hindsight I should have embossed it in white instead?

Either way it is still a fun card :)
