I have had a flood of birthdays cards to make of late which is always lots of fun. I try and come up with something personal for each recipient rather than mass produce one design.
This card focuses on a lover of blue - in this case a new colour called Balmy Blue. I then used some of my favourite items on this card.
I layered a panel on the front with a cut out circle. Layered behind it is an embossed panel to create some interest. The flower dies are from the Petals and More thinlits which I also used to cut out the bird from the Petal Palette stamp set. I then added the pearls to the centre of the flowers for a little interest.
