It's Your Day - A Good Man

Whilst I was making my masculine birthday cards that I posted a few days ago I also came up with this one which is basically the same I just used a different sentiment and colours for the man's clothing.

I paired Night of Navy with Balmy Blue keeping it quite nautical looking.

Happy Birthday masculine card using A Good Man

I have a few male birthdays coming up so I inked up my A Good Man stamp set and was quickly able to make some masculine cards.

I love the bold happy birthday sentiment from the Perennial Birthday set - after stamping it I snipped it in half to add it to my card with some dimensionals.

Some quick colouring with my blends and the card was complete. I am really happy with this one!

All days are beautiful that begin with you (perennial essence)

Hello stampers! Today I have a really quick and simple card to share. I wanted to show off the stunning Perennial Essence designer series paper. Did you know that this paper was hand painted by one of the artists on the Stampin' Up! home office? It is so lovely, very Van Gogh like to me. I just want to frame each piece and hang it on the wall.

But I needed a card so I cut up some pieces. The base card is blackberry bliss and I added the sentiment from the Floral Essence stamp set. Simple yet very effective.

Scrapbook page for a special birthday

A while back now I was asked to make a scrapbook page for a dear friend and fellow demonstrator Jo Ann. The idea was that we all made a page each to put in an album and surprise her with it on her special day.

Unfortunately being on opposite sides of the country meant that I could not be there with her in person but we are catching up in a few weeks when she comes to Perth to visit family (and Me!)

So those of you that know me well know that I have never really focused on scrapbooking I tend to make cards and 3D projects. But I was willing to make a page and I found myself really enjoying the process.

I don't have much 12x12 cardstock but I knew I wanted to showcase the magnolia lane DSP and stamps so I did a little happy dance when I stumbled across some crumb cake cardstock in my stash.

After that it went together rather quickly once I had stamped, coloured and die cut some flowers.

The sentiment was a limited release stamp - it is the Statement of the Heart motto for Stampin' Up!

Magnolia Guylian Chocolate Box

Hello crafters, today I have a sweet box for a little box of chocolates. I originally saw this design and instructions HERE and decided to make a magnolia version.

It is a quick project to put together once you have all the measurements. I used 2 brads to make a thread closure but you could use velcro or magnets instead if you wish.

Here is the box opened up. The smallest box of Guylian chocolates fits perfectly.

I didn't add a sentiment as I am not sure who the recipient will be and if I am perfectly honest with you the chocolate probably wont last much longer in my craft room!

Why not give it a try? It is a cute way to package up a small gift for any occasion. You can change the colours and images to suit all occasions.
