I needed to restock my stash of birthday cards so this is one we are doing in class this week. I just adore this Poppy bundle and it was the first stamp set I inked up when my pre-order arrived!
This is a brand new suite in the mini catalogue called Peaceful Poppies and it is HUGE! 2 stamp sets, 2 coordinating dies, stunning designer series paper, ribbon, embellishments and more!
I first stamped the larger poppy stamp randomly over the poppy parade cardstock using versamark ink. This created a really soft background. I then layered 2 pieces of the peaceful poppies designer series paper using the poppies as my focal point.
I have stamped the watercolour 'splodge' with old olive ink - I stamped it off once onto scrap paper then onto the cardstock for a lighter look. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set which is part of this suite.
I punched out the sentiment using the new Label Me Lovely punch - I love this shape!
My ribbon bow is made using a piece of the whisper white crinkled seam binding that I coloured with stampin blends - I love that we can colour our ribbons to coordinate our projects perfectly.
