All good things must come to an end and today is the last day for sale-a-bration.
But you still have today to get those last minute orders in. Make sure you are well stocked with cardstock, adhesives and envelope to craft away the crazies during this isolation time - it’s certainly keeping me sane at the moment!
I am sending healing hugs with today's card. I needed something super quick so this was the result!
I love this bold Peaceful Poppies DSP and it pairs so well with rich razzleberry and basic black.
The sentiment is from the So Sentimental stamp set and punched out with a favourite punch of mine - label me lovely. I added a strip of black cardstock behind the sentiment.
Today is a blog post with a difference. It is actually a blog host - hosted by my sweet friend Kelly Kent. The idea is for everyone to blog a card/project with the theme of Hello - a great way to check in with friends and make sure we are all ok in this crazy world.
Hello Friend! How are you?
This is a fun and fast card, inspired by Brian King. I love this Tropical Oasis DSP - it is so fun and cheerful.
The sentiment is from the Seriously the Best stamp set which I have embossed in black to make it really stand out. Behind it is a circle layer of vellum.
A strip of black cardstock and a strip of ribbon and the card was done! I am planning on making a heap of these types of cards to share with friends and neighbours while we are all going through this terrible crisis. I want to let people know they are not alone and that someone is thinking of them and sending hugs from a safe distance.
Why not head over to Kelly's blog for the full list of participants
These coordination products are only available until the end of the month so dont delay if you are wanting to get your hands on them. The Birthday dies have already sold out.
We have been busy behind the scenes designing a new adhesive storage solution using my 3D printer. I am very fortunate to have a hubby who can quickly design (and redesign) these for me.
And ta da! this is what we have come up with!
This little beauty holds a lot of supplies - multipurpose glue, tear and tape, stampin' dimensionals and glue dots. It will also fit your paper snips and a bone folder and anything else you might need.
I love its slim design and I am keen to use these at each place setting for classes too!
What do you think? I am currently printing more to sell if you are interested in purchasing one (or more) for your crafty nook.
They are $20 each plus postage. They come in a variety of colours too - royal blue (as above), red, pink, purple, orange and green. Please EMAIL me if you would like to order some.
Gosh I gad so much fun making these little treats for my class attendees last week!
I saw these holders HERE made by the Paper Pixie and knew they would be the perfect match for my Best Dressed class. I sourced the lipstick pens on Ebay and made up a whole bunch of these in no time. And the girls loved them!
I loved being able to match the Best Dressed dsp paper and cardstock to match the colours of the pens.
Julie has a video to show you how to make the holders. Do give them a try - they are so fun!
It has taken me a while to get around to using the Botanical Prints product medley and I am not sure why 'coz this medley is fabulous! My card was one I cased from a blog hop by Kylie Bertucci.
What I love about a product medley as opposed to a kit is that all the pieces are included to make fabulous creations all by yourself - not set cards like the kits. There are no card bases so you can use these items to make anything you want!
And there is sooooo much product in this medley you will be making cards for days, which lets face it is kinda what we need right now isn't it?
This is what is included - isn't it lovely?
Some lovely samples - check out the little metal bees - so cute!
And check out the video below to see all the pieces up close and personal.
And if you purchase this medley before 31st August you will earn yourself a sale-a-bration item for FREE! And some cardstock, adhesive and inks and you could earn yourself 2 (or more!) sale-a-bration items!!
Today I have a rather special card for you - one I made for my Mum's birthday. She loves all the cards I make for her and has most of them on display. Sometimes I like to go and have a look through them to see how my style has evolved (and improved too I hope!)
When I saw this card by Claire Daly I immediately thought of my Mum and knew she would love it so I got creating! And I love how it turned out!
I love this sale-a-bration Birthday stamp set but I am finding I am using it even more now that I have the coordinating dies. I love how you can add layers and dimension to the cake buy adding extra flowers and the cake stand. But they are only available while stocks last so don't miss out on your chance to grab them. Purchase the dies and you are half way to earning the stamp set for FREE!
I used the fluid water colour paper for the focal images and I coloured the images with a variety of inks - rococo rose, crumb cake and pear pizzazz and my aqua painter brush.
