Hello and welcome to our Stamping Inkspirations blog hop! We are a worldwide group of crafty people sharing our creations with you.
The them for this hop is Something New which at this time of the year is an easy one as Stampin' Up! have just released a brand new catalogue.
I chose to showcase the True Love designer series paper as I am totally addicted to it. I love the classic black and white it give you so many options for colouring and shading.
And so here is my card.
I chose to colour the flowers with calypso coral blends and granny apple green for the leaves. After a coat of wink of stella I then fussy cut them with my paper snips. I added a striped piece of the dsp pack for the background of my card mounted onto thick whisper white cardstock (which has been replaced with thick basic white cardstock).
I added a die cut scalloped circle of calypso coral to tie the colours together. I added the sentiment and coloured some basic rhinestones with my blends to get an exact colour match. I love that I can do this with all my blends colours to get an exact match every time.
Next up in the hop is Vicki Milyard
