Today I am using the FREE oh so ombre papers again with another sale-a-bration FREE stamp set A Touch of Ink. This stamp set is available as a level 2 freebie which means you can earn it with a $180 spend.
It is such a gorgeous stamp set. It is a 2 step which means you stamp the outline of the images and then the inside shading, although for my image I just stamped the outline butterfly then coloured it with my blends. I used granny apple green, bermuda bay and rich razzleberry.
My card was cased from the very talented Claire Daly
I used two pieces of the oh so ombre paper, the first layered onto the basic gray card base. Then I added a smaller piece which I embossed first. Embossing your DSP is a great way to add texture but not bulk to your cards.
Then I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of the ombre paper.
