Hand Penned Petals with Blends

This is a card we made in class a few weeks ago using the new Hand Penned bundle. I love this bundle as the images are so pretty and the dies cut out all the images, that's a big plus for me!

For this card we used some of the hand penned dsp for both the background and the smaller piece for the sentiment. We stamped the image in memento black (the best ink when using then blends) then coloured with flirty flamingo, mint macaron and pale papaya. I was inspired by THIS card by Amy Koenders

The white circle shape behind the image is part of the painted labels dies. A scattering of gems completes the card.

Stampers Anonymous Team Card Swap

Yesterday I shared the card I made for our team swap for the ESAD blog hop and today I wanted to share the rest of them with you. We have some great talent on our group!

I love that even though some, of us used the same stamp sets the cards are all quite different.

And now I have some great samples to share for my open day next weekend. I hope they give you some inspiration too.

ESAD Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Hello stampers and welcome to the ESAD Annual Catalogue Blog Hop.

Today we are sharing a card showcasing brand new products from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. I made this card recently for our team card swap.

I love the Beauty of Friendship bundle and chose to create this card with a single tree branch for a more dramatic look after being inspired by cards on pinterest. I knew I also wanted to showcase all the new in colors.

I began with a piece of basic white cardstock that I coloured with my blending brushes in pale papaya, polished pink and soft succulent.

I then cut and embossed the panel to add to my Soft Succulent base. I die cut the tree in both soft succulent and evening evergreen and slightly offset them to create a shadow effect. The sweet birds were die cut in bumblebee.

I scattered some basic rhinestones to complete the card.

Next up is Teresa Leggo. Click on the next button to head over to her blog and continue hopping.

Hand Penned in Calypso Coral

After playing with the Hand Penned suite some more I wanted to try to make a monochrome card using the large line image from the set. I was inspired by this card by Narelle Fasulo but ended up changing my card quite a bit.

I stamped the large image twice onto white cardstock in Calypso Coral the added it to the base card. I added a spotty panel of dsp from the Pansy Petals DSP. I die cut the small flower from the Hand Penned dies and added a small matte black dot to the centre.

The sentiment is from the Many Messages stamp set which I have die cut with the co ordinating die. I splattered some Wink of Stella over the base for a bit of added interest.

Why not give this a try yourself?

Color and Contour

Today's card showcases quite a few new products which I have been happily playing with - it's been like Christmas morning! Today's card was originally made by Heather Potterton - I just love the simplicity of it and had to try it for myself!

I love the new in color Polished Pink, I am not a huge pink girl but this is a nice bright but not over the top pink. I embossed the base panel using the Ornate Floral embossing folder then added a rectangle die from the Scalloped Contours dies. The flowers were stamped in polished pink ink then I stamped the second image in black memento and die cut them before adding some matte black dots.

Happy Mail Enclosed - Snail Mail

I just love this snail mail bundle, I was a bit late getting my hands on it but I have had so much fun with the cute critters and all the little elements to this suite.

I love the 'snail mail' idea and have loved adding these stamps to my envelopes - I hope they make the postie smile when they are sorted and delivered. inspired by a few cards I saw on Pinterest. I love this design as I can use up all those scraps of dsp that are left over from other projects.
