I have a fun blog post for you today, we are hopping with the Stamping INKspirations crew!
Today's challenge is Florals - which is perfect timing as it is Mothers Day here in Australia today so I took the opportunity to use this challenge to make my Mum as beautiful floral card.
I am very lucky to be celebrating they day with my family, my parents, my sister and her family - which is always full of love, laughs and food.
So here is today's card.
I saw this design on Pinterest made by Connie at
Constantly Stamping and loved the boldness of the flowers and the colours. She has made a range of cards in these colours all of which I love.
After pulling out all the colours for mine, I decided to use one of the new in colors - Soft Succulent. It was already out on my craft desk and I was keen to see what it would look like,
I love that the coloured images of the flowers are not precise and not 'inside the lines' like we always thought we had to be as kids.
And it is also good for covering up my little boo boo at the bottom where I didn't have quite enough space for an extra flower image but I tried to sneak one in anyway!
To add the splatter look I flicked both my black blend pen and then the wink of Stella pen for some added sparkle. I like the way this fills in the white space on the cardstock.
I added the gorgeous new in colour jewels to finish off the card.
