Stunning Eden's Garden

In class last week we played with the stunning Eden's Garden bundle. I wanted to showcase the designer series paper as this is only available for a short time and while stocks last.

This card was based on a design by Patty Bennett - I love how she chose to use the in colour shimmer vellum for the large die cut piece. It really elevates the card.

The centre panel was die cut then stamped with the large flower image and I added some of the gorgeous gems. The sentiment comes from the Christmas to Remember stamp set.

Magical Moments - Whimsical Trees

This card by Lisa Hardie was one I had to recreate, I just love mixing up colours for Christmas and this Whimsy DSP is just gorgeous with all the soft pinks and greens. I used 2 patterns on the base of my card then used the layering circle dies to create a mat for the trees. And isn't that sentiment sweet? I just love it.

Whimsical Trees

I have been madly creating for Christmas but cannot share much of it yet as I don't want any spoilers just yet!

Another love, The Whimsy and Wonder specialty designer series paper (DSP). The catalogue really doesnt do this paper any justice. It is sooo shiny and sparkly in real life.

Gorgeous DSP really needs little extra does it? Dies, minimal stamping and a sweet sentiment. Done!

Festive Foliage

Gosh I love this Festive Foliage stamp - it's so pretty and makes cards so easy to make as it does all the work! It stamps beautifully every time.

I have stamped this in Shade Spruce ink on Shaded Spruce cardstock then used one of the large stitched rectangle dies to cut out a panel, adding it to the card base with stampin dimensionals.

I then stamped a small sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set in real red. I used red rhinestones to add some bling and tie the red and green together.

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #36

I

Yay it’s time for another team blog hop! And what a fun sketch challenge we have this month. I am in the middle of preparations for my Christmas Retreat so I was very happy to be able to combine both.

I have used the Festive Foliage for my focal panel and underneath the banner panel. I have used my Wink of Stella pen to colour the stamped image.  This has allowed the ink to run a bit which has create the water colour look I wanted. The base layer is embossed with three Merriest Frames embossing folder and the sentiment comes from the Banner Year stamp set - such a versatile stamp set.

Make sure you click through to see the rest of the amazing creations. Next up is Sharon

Love Santa Tag Kit - more than just tags

I just love the Love Santa tag kit - these tags are so much fun to put together. I made up a heap then wanted to create cards with them too.
I have kept them rather simple just embossing the background. For the tree and the Santa cards I snipped off the hole for the tag. Cute huh?
