Hues of Happiness

Today's card was totally inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest and similar to one I shared a week or so ago. I love using black and white and adding a pop of colour - here using sweet sorbet ink to water colour my flowers. I love to water colour on our shimmery white cardstock. a. for the slight shimmer look and b. it holds the water better than basic white cardstock.

Tropical Hideaway

You can bet this stamp set was at the top of my list for my first order of the new catalogue. It's a single large stamp called Tropical Hideaway. And it's a perfect match for my blog logo :)

Here I have simply stamped it in Pear Pizzazz then layered it onto Pear Pizzazz cardstock then thick basic white cardstock - simple, clean, easy and I love it!

The sentiment comes from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and the die cut from the Beautiful Shapes dies.

Cup of Tea thank you

Another bundle I am having lots of fun with is the Tea Boutique. Here I have used a simple layout to showcase the new in colour Starry Sky. Such a bold blue which I just love.

I have embossed the background panel and also the tea cup then added to a piece of the DSP. I think I will make more of these for my customer thank you cards this month.

Wishing you all the happiness - Hues of Happiness

Gosh I am loving this bundle Hues of Happiness - it most certainly is!

Here I have stamped the largest flower and some leaves and coloured them with my blends. This gave me the option to pick almost any colour. I decided on Calypso Coral.

Do you like the notebook effect on the side? That is one of the dies included in the bundle. Such a fun element to add.

Team Promotions - Hues of Happiness

A few weeks ago one of my team members promoted in title so I had to make a card to celebrate the occasion! I gave her a package of this beautiful dsp so of course the card matched perfectly!!

This card is quite simple as the paper does all the colouring and shading.

I die cut one of the roses from the dsp and layered it over the sentiment with dimensionals. The sentiment comes from Good Feelings.

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #42

Hello everyone, welcome to another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog hop - gosh these months are just flying by!

Today we have a colour challenge as below. What a fun way to introduce the new 5 in colours to our range.

I chose to use Orchid Oasis, a really lovely purply blue colour - don't tell the other colours but I think this might be my favourite!

Today's card is cased from Alison Solven. I have just purchased the Ranuculus Romance bundle and this was a great laout for the stamps, dies and colours.

I started with a base card of soft sea foam, adding another  layer embossed with the timeworn embossing folder. I then added all the stamped and die cut layers over the top.

The tag shape is due cut vellum layered over a piece of white cardstock for stability.

The sentiment comes from the happiness abounds stamp set and is cut using the stylish shapes dies.

Make sure you click through the rest of the blogs to see what our team have been creating.

Next up is Marelle Taylor
