Cracker and Treat Box

I had a sweet friend come and play in my studio with me for the day last week. We love to do this around new catalogue time to see what each other has purchased and share what we have so each can make samples with all the projects.

This is one that she made for me to use for show and tell. It is made using the cracker and treat box die and the stunning awash in beauty dsp. So pretty in these papers and depending on the dsp you can mix it up for almost any occasion.

Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper

I have seen a few of this style of card around, my favourite one being created by one of my team members Kylie Page @ Stampers Workshop. She has an amazing eye for detail and her colouring/blending is just stunning.

This DSP is so detailed it really doesn't need much added to it. And by just colouring one flower on the amazing DSP I was able to create a real focal point. It also made it a much quicker project for class :)

The tulip was coloured with calypso coral and granny apple green blends. The sweet sentiment is from the Hues of Happiness stamp set and the banner die is from my all time favourite dies stylish shapes.

Catalogue Kick Off Treats!

Last weekend I hosted my annual catalogue kick off party. A little later than usual but that's ok.

I always make a little goodie bag for them showcasing new products. There is always some sort of chocolate treat and this was the one I made this year. I used the same template as I did for my blog hop project last week HERE

The cardstock slides inside one of our clear envelopes then a topper is added. Here I used the fun Happy Forrest Friends suite.

Such a quick and easy project to whip up.

Retiring Artfully Layered Bundle

Gosh I have loved using this bundle - I love the monstera leaf (no surprise there!) but I have also loved the fonts in the sentiments too. And don't get me started on the lush DSP. I am so sad it is retiring at the end of the month.

But you still have time to get yours AND at a discount too!

This card was a case from Mary Fish, I just love the 'clean' look she gives her projects. By layering a few pieces of dsp you can create gorgeous colour and texture.

Greetings Kind Human - Nuts and Bolts

Greetings my friends! I have another fun robot to share with you today, don't you just love his face? He's too cute. And there isn't much time left to grab this stamp set as it will retire on the 30th June 2022. It is currently marked don from $37 to $33.30.

Today's card was inspired by a card on Pinterest by Rachel Rife I stamped the robot with the heart randomly over a piece of pool party cardstock using coastal cabana ink. This gives it a slightly darker tone on tone colour for the background. I then stamped the flower robot with memento ink so I could colour him with blends. Here is used a variety of colours - pool party, mango melody and old olive.

I stamped the sentiment in mango melody and cut it up with my snips to create 3 single words to create some interest.

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #43

Hi everyone and thank for joining  us for our Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop for this month. We have a sketch challenge this month. Mine is a little bit of a loose interpretation but most of the elements are still there.

My card is totally cased from Missy Mills - I was looking for some ideas for showcasing the incolours for my catalogue launch party last weekend when I came across this card. I loved it so much I made it in all 5 in colours! This one in Orchid Oasis was by far my favourite though.

This layout showcases the Cottage Rose bundle perfectly. I love how this image is detailed enough to not need colouring if you choose not too. Here I have stamped it in Orchid Oasis ink. I have used the in colour 6x6 paper pack for the patterned paper and the sentiment is stamped on a banner from the stylish shapes dies. And a couple of in colour matte dots and some metallic ribbon to finish it off.

Make sure you hop over to all the other blogs to see what the girls have created this month.

Next up is Marelle
