Thinking of You - Quiet Meadow

Last week in class I showcased the Quiet Meadow bundle. I fell in love with the dies mainly and have been having fun creating with all the different flower/stems/leaves.

This one I cased from Michelle Mills - I loved her colour choices here, they are not colours I would normally gravitate to and I am always looking for new ideas so thanks Michelle!

The base is Misty Moonlight to which I added a layer with the stamped background and sponged the edges. I due cut the images from pale papaya and balmy blue. The sentiment panel is also from the same dies and fits the sentiment perfectly.

A few rhinestone completes the card.

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #32

Welcome to the Stampers Anonymous blog hop number 32! This month's challenge is a sketch which are always fun. And this is what I came up with!

I knew I wanted to use this stunning Simply Elegant DSP so I went with a basic black card base and an embossed panel using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.

I cut a circle of the dsp and layered it onto a scalloped gold layer. Then I added metallic bits and pieces to add to the layers. I embossed a small piece of silver card with the Hammered embossing folder and added some elements from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera kit including the adhesive sequins that I finished off the card with.

I cut out a flower from the DSP to add to the card above the sentiment which is from the Friends are like Seashells stamp set.

I had such fun playing with this sketch challenge - not knowing where it was going to take me and being really pleased with the result!

Make sure you check out the rest of the team's creations. Next up is the super talented Kylie Page @ Stampers Workshop.

Thinking of You - Beauty of Friendship

Hello Stampers, I have another beauty of friendship card for you today that we made in class this week. I am really loving this new in colour - Soft Succulent, to me it is the perfect green that isn't too green or too dark.

I have been under the pump lately trying to keep up with everything so I have been using Pinterest a lot to get some ideas and inspiration - this was another one of them.

This card is quite simple, the stamps make do all the 'talking' in this card. The tree trunk is stamped in crumb cake ink then the leaves in soft succulent. This stamp give beautiful shading to create the variety of the colours for the leaves. The sentiment and the die are from the same bundle.

The strip of DSP is from the Pansy Petals DSP. I then added some green genial gems to finish it off.

You truly inspire me - Beauty of Friendship

I just love the Beauty of Friendship bundle, it is so versatile and striking. Now this card was cased from pinterest I am sure but I cannot find the card again to give credit. Please let me know if you know who the original creator was and I can update this post!

And how sweet is this striped paper? It is from the Pattern Party which is an exclusive hostess pack which you can earn with an order of $250 and over. It's a huge pack of 48 sheets - coloured on one side and black and white on the reverse.

I used the scallop trim from the Scalloped Contours dies to create a fun edge to the dsp. The tree is cut in shimmery white cardstock for a subtle shimmer. The little bird comes from a scrap of the pattern party dsp.

I embossed the background panel to add some texture. I then added the sentiment and a scattering of the artistry blooms adhesive sequins.

Happy Birthday - Artistically Inked

Today I am sharing a card I CASEd (copied and selectively edited) from Tammy Wilson  one of the Artisan designers for Stampin' Up! I follow all the designers as I just love seeing their creativity. Everyone's style is different and they never cease to wow me.

I love these flowers from the Artistically Inked bundle in the bolder colours (in this case Poppy Parade, Misty Moonlight and Soft Succulent) and the Macrame 3D embossing folder *swoon*
