Greetings Kind Human - Nuts and Bolts

Greetings my friends! I have another fun robot to share with you today, don't you just love his face? He's too cute. And there isn't much time left to grab this stamp set as it will retire on the 30th June 2022. It is currently marked don from $37 to $33.30.

Today's card was inspired by a card on Pinterest by Rachel Rife I stamped the robot with the heart randomly over a piece of pool party cardstock using coastal cabana ink. This gives it a slightly darker tone on tone colour for the background. I then stamped the flower robot with memento ink so I could colour him with blends. Here is used a variety of colours - pool party, mango melody and old olive.

I stamped the sentiment in mango melody and cut it up with my snips to create 3 single words to create some interest.

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #43

Hi everyone and thank for joining  us for our Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop for this month. We have a sketch challenge this month. Mine is a little bit of a loose interpretation but most of the elements are still there.

My card is totally cased from Missy Mills - I was looking for some ideas for showcasing the incolours for my catalogue launch party last weekend when I came across this card. I loved it so much I made it in all 5 in colours! This one in Orchid Oasis was by far my favourite though.

This layout showcases the Cottage Rose bundle perfectly. I love how this image is detailed enough to not need colouring if you choose not too. Here I have stamped it in Orchid Oasis ink. I have used the in colour 6x6 paper pack for the patterned paper and the sentiment is stamped on a banner from the stylish shapes dies. And a couple of in colour matte dots and some metallic ribbon to finish it off.

Make sure you hop over to all the other blogs to see what the girls have created this month.

Next up is Marelle

Hope your day is a grand adventure - He's the Man DSP

I have been having fun with this He's the Man DSP. I haven't yet bought the stamp set and dies but because the dsp has 2 sheets of die cut images I have been having fun creating with those. I saw this idea on pinterest and loved it!

I love the camper DSP pieces as our team name is The Happy Camper Stampers. I feel like this paper was made for us!

A bot if embossing of cardstock and some brushed metallic dots keeps the card interesting and yet still  masculine.

Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop - Let's Hear It for the Boys!

Hi Crafters and welcome to another Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop. This months theme is Let's Hear it for the Boys.

As I was thinking about this project I immediately went to my newest masculine suite - He's the Man. I am sure I wont be the only one using this new suite!

I only had the DSP to play with but luckily this comes with 2 pages of pre cut images providing heaps of ideas.

So my card is a selection of the DSP with no ink!  I finished it off with twine and some metallic gems.

Seeing as this project was super quick and easy I decided to make a little chocolate treat pouch to go with it. This pocket design is one I use a fair bit - I think it originally came from Connie Stewart.

It is super easy to make as it uses a clear envelope for the wrapper. The cardstock and chocolates slip perfectly inside and the topper finishes it off perfectly. It holds 3 fun size chocolates perfectly.

Here is a larger image of the DSP - see all the pre cut images on the left hand side.

Make sure you click through to see all of this month's projects. Next up is Danielle.

New Home - Cup of Tea

Over the weekend I visited a dear friend who has just moved into a fabulous new home and this is the card I made her to celebrate.

I used my all time favourite letter dies to cut out the HOME letters using the Flowering Fields DSP. The smaller letters were die cut using the foam mount sheets - love these, they are so easy to use and adhere to the card!

The bricks embossing folder was perfect for my home theme.

The flowers are from the Cup of Tea bundle, I stamped them in garden green then added the little flowers in calypso coral. Having dies to cut all these images made is nice and easy.
