In Colors for 2020-2022

I am so in love with the 2020-2022 In Colours! I have been able to pre order them to have a play before the new catalogue goes live 3rd June 2020.

Here we have Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider. Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight.

I made my cards using all new product - new papers, cardstock, dies, ribbon and emblishments. The leaf die is from a set called Forever Flourishing and has 14 leaf dies.

Below is a closer look at each individual card.

Happy Birthday Poppies

I have adored this Painted Poppies bundle and I am so pleased it is carrying over to the new catalogue! What is retiring though is the stunning Peaceful Poppies designer series paper. I'd stock up if I were you :)

I still had some paper left so I made this double Z fold card following Wendy Cranford's instructions. Such a fun card and it really makes a statement with the poppy parade cardstock and that large red and white poppy.

I am off to make some more of these cards, such a fun fold. Why not give it a try yourself? I'd love to see what you create.

Ornate Garden Thanks

Gosh I love this designer series paper - such bold, bright, fun prints.
Today's card is very simple but packs a punch! A layer of the Ornate Garden DSP on a terracotta tile cardstock base. I love the Ornate Garden dies for the focal sentiment and then used the daisy punch to punch two flowers from a scrap of cardstock. A simple rhinestone finishes it off.

A Little Note / Positive Thoughts

Another class card we made using the Positive Thoughts bundle, this time focusing on the sweet butterfly. Not the best photo sorry but you can still see the features of the card. This is one cased from Amy Koenders.

We stamped the butterfly in Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay then die cut them and arranged them on the rectangle die cut. I used the thick whisper white cardstock for the base as it is more sturdy.

A bit of twine an a sweet little embossed sentiment and ta da!!

Happy Birthday / Positive Thoughts

I made this sample card for classes a while ago now and never showed it off! I really like this one too!

This card was cased from Pinterest using the Positive Thoughts stamp set and Nature's Thoughts dies both of which will be in the new annual catalogue - yippee!!

I started with Pretty Peacock as a card base and layered a small panel of Very Vanilla behind a die cut rectangle - see the stitched edges? Aren't they beautiful?

I then sponged crumb cake ink around the stitched shape and stamped the leaf image. I then stamped another leaf on a scrap of crumb cake in pretty peacock and die cut it to add over the top for some interest and layering. The other die cut images were arranged over the top and then I added the twine and the sentiment.

Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop

Time for another Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop!! I love these hops. This month we have a sketch challenge which was fun.

I decided to showcase the distinktive Beautiful Frienship stamp set which I haven't used for a while.

I love how the stamped image gives a beautiful textured, water coloured look with minimal effort! This card came together really quickly as it is just stamps, ink and paper! I CASEd a similar card by Dani Dziama @ Dani's Thoughtful Corner

Here is a close up of the detail of the stamped image - love it!

A bit of rhinestone bling and the flax ribbon finish it off nicely :)
