StampingPals Challenge #4 | Colour Challenge

Time for another StampingPals challenge. This month is a colour challenge which I always love as it gets me out of my comfort zone trying new colours together.

And here is my creation.

I decided to use Very Versailles stamp set - one that I love buy haven't used much lately.
I embossed a panel of pear pizzazz cardstock using the brick embossing folder.then die cut a piece of whisper white cardstock using the Stitched Nested Labels dies.

I stamped the words in early espresso then stamped the leaf repeatedly over the top, not inking in between stamping (also known as second generation stamping) to create a lighter, washed look.

I stamped the sentiment in Terracotta Tile and also die cut a thin strip using the Ornate Border dies to add some terracotta to the white panel to tie everything together. A thin layer of early espresso under the embossed panel makes the bricks a bit more of a feature.

A couple of the in colour faceted dots finished off my card.

Why not give this colour challenge a go? It's great to just pull out 3 colours of ink and card stock and just see what you come up with.
