Prized Peony birthday

I just love this peony stamp and wanted to create my own designer series paper - so easy with this stamp - I just randomly stamped it onto a piece of white cardstock in petal pink ink.
I added an embossed layer and then a layer of designer series paper to create interest and texture. I am sure I got this idea from Pinterest but I cannot find it again to give credit to the original creator sorry.

Then I created the focal circle using the same stamp, adding a layer of petal pink and the sentiment.

These types of cards are easy to make multiples of as you can create a whole sheet of the stamped background then cut it into the pieces you require.

Jars of Flowers class treats bags!

As soon as I saw this Jar of Flowers bundle in the new catalogue  knew I needed to make these mason jar bags that have been in my stash of goodies for a little while. They are quite widely available but I got mine on ebay. They are zip lock style bags that when filled look like mason jars. Aren't they fun?

I wanted a cute but simple decoration for them so I used the jar punch and the super cute Flowers for every season DSP. I then added some punched flowers using the coordinating colours and the small bloom punch.

Inside each bag are 2 mini mars bars.

I cant thank you enough / So Sentimental

Today's card is one of a variety that I made for my customer thank you cards. I love to spoil my customers with a nice card and vouchers for shopping with me. I truly appreciate each order and love that you choose me as your Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

I made this card in a few colours but I do think I am most partial to the Just Jade version! The whisper white gives it a crisp, clean look.

The sweet little flowers and stems comes from the Well Written dies. I added some rhinestones to the centre of the flowers.

Prized Peony

Hello, A quick post from me today as I seem to be chasing my tail this week for some reason! Thank you pinterest for some inspiration when mine has gone awol......

I love this peony stamp and all the texture and depth to the stamped image. So elegant on it's own, simply stamped with no colouring required.

The dies add a panel of interest and I love love the vellum squares too!

Wonderful Peony

I love this peony flower, it is such a lovely design either in it's own or coloured in a variety of mediums.

This one I cased from Pinterest, using the colours in the suite - petal pink, gray granite and basic gray.

The sentiment is from the bloom and grow stamp set which I stamped directly onto the designer series paper. The elegant faceted gems are just that - elegant and add a really lovely touch.

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #20

Hello and welcome to our team blog hop for this month! Gosh the months are flying by at an alarming rate!

This month's theme is a sketch challenge - I love these because makes me think about new ways to make cards. Sometimes we get stuck in a bit of a rut and make the same style of card all the time so a new layout is always a great way to mix things up a bit.

And here is my card.

I am loving this Blossoms in Bloom bundle and have been playing with it for a few days mixing up inks, dies and colours. So I knew this would be a great choice for my challenge card. I stamped the flowers in Just Jade and then added the bumblebee for the centres.

After die cutting the stitched rectangle I embossed the panel with the tasteful textile embossing folder to give it a bit more texture. Such a great idea I got from our team leader Marelle :)

I also added a bit of the wink of stella glitter pen. I then did the same to a piece of just jade to add to the card base. The panel underneath is bumble which adds a pop of colour.

The sentiment is from the celebrate sunflowers stamp set (another firm favourite of mine)
Finally I added some gold bling - you can't go wrong with bling right?

Make sure you click through to see the rest of our team's creations. There is always plenty of inspiration. Next up is Sharon Wilson
