Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #23

Yippee it is time for our monthly team blog hop! This month was a colour challenge - Pretty Peacock, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry. Not colours I normally gravitate towards but I was up for the challenge.

My first thought when I saw these colours was a fun birthday card but as I started to play I gravitated towards flowers and then ultimately ended up using Fancy Phrases.

I stamped the images in memento black then used my blends to colour the flowers. I did have to use another colour though - my leaves needed to be green!!

After stamping and colouring I ran the white panel through the subtle embossing folder - it gives a really nice texture to the card. I then added some of the yellow gems from the Holiday Rhinestone pack to the centre of the flowers for some bling and a sweet little sentiment which could cover a few different occasions.

Next up is Kristy - make sure you click through to see everyone's creations.
