Time for another Stamper Anonymous Blog hop - we are up to #24 now, gosh that's gone fast!
This month's sketch challenge was a fun one for me. I had a few ideas floating around in my head. I knew I wanted to make another Christmas card as I don't have enough to send out just yet!
I cannot seem to stop playing with the Poinsettia Place bundle so I knew that was going to be my feature for this card.
So I started playing with some items I had on my desk and this was the result - I have to confess this card uses quite a few products from a variety of stamp sets and dies!
I have used a piece of the gilded autumn dsp - this piece has the gorgeous gold detail to it. I wanted to use a big piece of it so I decided on a slimline card using mint macaron as my base.
I then added all the layers - a wreath die cut from the wreath builder dies. I stamped the poinsettia flowers in various sizes and then die cut those to layer into a flower. I have used dimensionals between each layer to add dimension and added a very liberal coating of wink of stella to really make them shine. I added a beaded pearl to finish it off. I added the whole flower to a stitched circle base on gold foil.
For the sentiment I used the Tag Buffet stamp set - the largest sentiment - and chopped it into smaller pieces then picked the words I wanted to use. I added them to the card with mini dimensionals.
Here is a close up photo of the focal point.
So in the end I was a little bit off the true sketch.... oops! But I had a lot of fun making this card and I hope you love it.
Make sure you check out the fabulous creations the rest of the team have made for this sketch challenge. Next up is SHARON
