Game On birthday card

Today I have a fun card that I made for my teenage nephew’s birthday. I love this set and the sentiment too. Sadly this stamp set is retiring at the end of this month. This one is a keeper in my books and I dont think I will be getting rid of it anytime soon!

The card is quite simple, I stamped the chess pieces randomly over the balmy blue cardstock in misty moonlight ink then layered onto misty moonlight cardstock and onto a balmy blue card base.

I then stamped the chess pieces again into a white stitched shape square and did the same with the sentiment and the oval stitched die.

Being a male card I refrained from adding bling or wink of Stella :)

  2. This birthday card idea is great, especially for a teenage nephew who enjoys strategy games like chess. The layered cardstock and simple stamping in blue tones keep it clean and masculine without needing extra sparkle or decoration. I like how the chess pieces create that game on feeling without overcomplicating the design. It actually reminds me how many teens enjoy competitive games in different forms, from board games to online platforms, and sometimes people look for small bonuses like a boho casino free chip to try something new without too much risk at first. In any case, a handmade card built around a game theme feels creative and personal, which makes the birthday message stand out even more.
