Game On birthday card

Today I have a fun card that I made for my teenage nephew’s birthday. I love this set and the sentiment too. Sadly this stamp set is retiring at the end of this month. This one is a keeper in my books and I dont think I will be getting rid of it anytime soon!

The card is quite simple, I stamped the chess pieces randomly over the balmy blue cardstock in misty moonlight ink then layered onto misty moonlight cardstock and onto a balmy blue card base.

I then stamped the chess pieces again into a white stitched shape square and did the same with the sentiment and the oval stitched die.

Being a male card I refrained from adding bling or wink of Stella :)

  1. I reckon that’s a solid idea for a birthday card, especially for someone who’s into gaming, it’s got a bit of personality and feels way more thoughtful than just grabbing something off the shelf, you can tell it’s been made with a bit of care which always makes it more special, definitely the kind of thing that stands out and makes the day feel a bit more fun
