Here come the sheep!

One of the super fun stamp sets in this sale-a-bration offering are these super fun sheep. Not only is the stamp set free but there is also a set of dies that you can earn for free too!!

I have to admit I am not a hug fan of fussy cutting so for me having the dies to quickly and neatly cut out these sheep (and all the extras that come with the dies) is a real sanity saver!

So how do I earn these you ask? Just place an order for $180 and these can be yours (one item for each $90) spend.

And just for fun, I saw a similar card on pinterest and had to recreate it - a Christmas tree made of sheep!! Pretty cute hey? I love how we can use out artistic license to create whatever we like - there are no rules.

Once I stamped and die them I quickly coloured them with smoky slate and petal pink blends then layered them onto the card. Having 3 sheep in 3 different poses made it easy to layer. I added a silver star and some night of navy bling and a sentiment.

I used the animal print embossing folder to create some texture and some bling because well bling!!

Thank you kindly Dahlia

Hello crafters! Today I have another Delicate Dahlia card to share with you - one of our class projects this week. I cased this card from Kelly Acheson @ A Stamp Above

This is a fab layout that I have used many times in the past. It is amazing hoe different it can look just by changing the colours and/or the stamp set.

I have used a strip of the black and white striped DSP which is another FREE saleabration item - call Beautifully Penned which coordinates with the Hand Penned Petals bundle in the annual catalogue.

Pansy Patch

I love this Pansy Patch bundle but I haven't purchased it - I had a lovely friend lent me her dies to play with as I had bought the beautful Pansy Petals DSP. I took the opportunity to die cut the flowers and leaves from the DSP and now have a wonderful stash to create from!

This card came together quickly, I used a soft succulent card base then added one of the square vellum  doilies (love these!) and added some strips of the DSP in a couple of patterns. I then layered the pansies and leaves over the top using stampin' dimensionals for some lift to the card.

The sentiment comes from the Garden Birdhouses stamp set - I just love this wording.

Happy Birthday Dahlia

Another look at the Delicate Dahlia stamp set - this time I have stamped the outline in black then used my Just Jade blends to colour them in. Instead of using cardstock, I stamped directly onto a piece of wood look dsp from the Bloom Where you Are Planted pack.

The sentiment is another favourite of mine - the Biggest Wish stamp set - I just love this bold font.

Delicate Dahlias - FREE stamp set!

The Delicate Dahlia stamp set is just stunning and can be yours FREE during sale-a-bration. It is a 2 step stamp set which means you can create really lovely flowers in a variety of ways. Here I have used the 2 large dahlia stamps in paly papaya ink to create a soft floral background. I then stamped the leaves randomly over the card in soft succulent. After I had stamped all the images I ran the white panel through the Tasteful Textile embossing folder to add some texture to the card. I added a thin layer of evening evergreen onto the pale papaya card base.

I added some loose flower flourishes embellishments to the centre of the flowers and the sentiment (from the Delicate Dahlia stamp set.

Remember this stamp set can only be earned during the saleabration period (ends 30th September)

Blackberry Beauty card swap

I recently participated in a swap, something I used to love to do but haven’t done many of late. This one was word wide one so I was keen to particpate and see everyone’s creations. I have only received one card so far but I am sure the others won’t be too far away. I will endeavour to share them as they arrive.

The Blackberry Beauty DSP is stunning and I bought it purely on a whim because I loved it so much. I then wanted to showcase ALL the patterns and textures so this card was born! This is a great design to use up scraps of dsp so nothing goes to waste!

It is a really easy process, it just takes a little time to punch and glue. I used the tailored punch for the shapes then glued them onto a rich razzleberry layer. I recommend using a piece that is larger than yo need so you can trim the edges once you are done. Then it was layered onto a rich razzleberry card base. I added a small die cut using the Painted Labels dies. The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.
