Game On birthday card

Today I have a fun card that I made for my teenage nephew’s birthday. I love this set and the sentiment too. Sadly this stamp set is retiring at the end of this month. This one is a keeper in my books and I dont think I will be getting rid of it anytime soon!

The card is quite simple, I stamped the chess pieces randomly over the balmy blue cardstock in misty moonlight ink then layered onto misty moonlight cardstock and onto a balmy blue card base.

I then stamped the chess pieces again into a white stitched shape square and did the same with the sentiment and the oval stitched die.

Being a male card I refrained from adding bling or wink of Stella :)

  1. Nah, I actually think the card design is a bit underrated. Everyone keeps focusing on the gaming theme, but the handmade details are what make it feel personal. A store-bought card can’t really compete with something you’ve spent time creating yourself. That said, if the birthday person is into games, I get why people lean into that style. Speaking of gaming, I was recently looking through https://casino-ricky.org/login/ because it explains how existing players access their accounts, manage deposits and continue their favourite games. Different type of gaming obviously, but the same idea applies — people enjoy experiences that feel familiar and easy to jump into.
