Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #33

Hi crafters! This month's Stampers Anonymous blog hop is a Colour Challenge - Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.

I have to admit I struggle a bit with Pale Papaya, I love the colour but sometimes find it a bit insipid so my first attempt at a card I didn't like - it was just okay and I wasn't loving it.

So I left it for a few days and came back and created something totally different - a Christmas card!

I just love this Festive Foliage large stamp - it stamps beautifully and creates a great card in no time at all. I love it all on it's own but you can heat emboss it, colour it with a range of mediums such as blends, water colour pencils, inks etc.

Here I used my blends in the colour challenge colours. They come out a little different as I used them directly onto the soft succulent cardstock but I love the result. The sentiment comes from the Christmas to Remember stamp set and co-ordinating Seasonal Label dies.

A few adhesive sequins added some sparkle thanks to the Artistry Bloom sequins.

I can't wait to see what everyone else has created, such a talented bunch. Next up is Kylie | Stampers Workshop. Click on the next button below.

  1. Great card Melissa. I wouldn't have thought to go with Christmas with these colours but they work really well.
