Shaded Summer Birthday

A very quick post from me today. I seem to be making cards far faster than I can blog them!

Todays card used the Shaded Summer stamp set. I love the dark green and pop of pink. I am sure I cased this card from Pinterest but I am having trouble finding it again to give credit sorry.

This is a great layout for using up scraps of dsp and cardstock!

On the Horizon Home Décor project

Gosh I love this On the Horizon bundle - the patterns in the New Horizons DSP are just lovely. This frame was so easy to make, I just took a piece of 6x6 dsp,  added some die cut trees, grass and fence to the scene. Then I added the sentiment and some pebbles and put it all in the frame.

I hosted a small demo day a few weeks ago and this was one of the projects I created for everyone to make. Everyone's was slightly different and some chose to use a different piece of  dsp but they all turned out stunning.

I bought the frames at Kmart (I think they were around $4 each). I love that I can easily change these out for different colours and patterns to suit the occasion. Why don't you give it a try too? I am sure you have a spare picture frame that might need some revamping.

Waves of Inspiration - your strength is an inspiration

Sometimes a clean and simple card is all you need. The 'less is more' statement gives you the opportunity to let the stamps show themselves in all their glory.

And this is so applicable to this card. The detail in the wave and the shading in the pylons is just amazing. And the crisp white with the misty moonlight is nice and clean, I just love it!

For the Record

Another fun stamp set in the 2022 Jan - June catalogue is this one - For the Record. I love this bold record image and it made this card so quick and easy to make. I stamped the record repeatedly over the white base then coloured the hearts in with real red blends.

I stamped the sentiment then cut it into smaller pieces to place a bit more randomly on the card base. I then added a small layer of real red cardstock then a basic black card base.

So fun!

Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #40

Hello friends and welcome to our monthly Team Blog Hop. This month we have a colour challenge. I love these 2020-2022 in colours and will be so sad to see them leave us in just a few week's time.

For my card today I used a design made by the lovely Mikaela Tithridge. I attended an online class of hers a few weeks back and this was one of the fab designs she came up with. So I was so excited to see the colours for this month's as it was a perfect match!

Now you may be wondering where I got this cute flower from - well it's made using Cactus Cuties stamp set! I stamped it in magenta madness 3 times then granny apple green twice. I fussy cut them then glues them together to create the flower and leaves - so clever right?

There is a small panel of sunshine and rainbows dsp behind the white stitched shape then I added some denim ribbon.

The sentiment is stamped in misty moonlight. The centre of the flower and a section of the dsp are bumblebee which completes the colour challenge.

Make sure you click through to see what all the other talented ladies have created! Next up is Sharon Wilson

Here is the full list in case you get a bit lost along the way......

Island Vibes - A Happy Hello to You!

There is a sale-a-bration stamp set called Island Vibes that I think has been a little bit neglected, I know I haven't created with it nearly enough - and yet I love it!

So I challenged myself to use it. This card was one I saw HERE - I love the use of the dsp to create a wall for the leaves. They are simply stamped twice, one in each corner. Then I added a strip of garden green cardstock and a nice bold sentiment from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set.
