Around the World on Wednesday All Things Crafty | Favourite Colouring Tools

Hello everyone and welcome to another Around the World on Wednesday blog hop!

Today we are focusing on our favourite colouring tools and for me that is a toss up between sponging and water colouring so I decided to do both on the one card! And this is what I ended up with.

D

I love these poppies and I don't think it matter at all that they are a different colour to real flowers - that's the fun of colouring and creating with stamps. This is a case from one of the artisan design team members.

Here I have used highland heather and gorgeous grape. I used an aqua painter to paint the background to have a water colour washed look. I then embossed it using the Subtle embossing folder. I then stamped and die cut the poppies adding colour with my sponge daubers. They turned out a little darker than I was originally hoping for but I quite like them this way too!

The sentiment is from the Country Home stamp set which I have stamped in gorgeous grape then die cut using the stitched so sweetly dies.

A little scattering of bling and some die cut leaves and my card is complete!
