Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop - April 2021

Hello everyone an welcome to another Stamping Inkspirations blog hop. This month's theme is Birthdays - what fun!

This month I ended up with a few projects to share with you so I had to narrow it down to just one. The reason I had so many to share was that I got a bit carried away colouring in these gorgeous papers and could not stop! So this is the paper that keeps on giving as I now have one sheet of DSP coloured in a range of blends colours ready to make a heap more of this style of card - and have loads of birthday cards ready to send.

This paper is called True Love and is a stunning mix of black and white papers that are stunning on their own or you can choose to colour them as I have here with blends (highland heather and granny apple green) or you could use blending brushes, watercolour pencils, ink etc.

I find colouring with blends very relaxing and a great way to get my creative juices flowing again if I am in a bit of a creative rut.

I then cut the flowers out with my ever faithful paper snips, added some bling and a handful of stampin dimensionals to add it to the card base. I am pretty sure this layout was not my original idea and was a pinterest find but now of course I cannot seem to find it again!

Make sure you give this paper a try, it really is a classic.
