Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop - CAS(e) the Mini Duo

Hello my crafty friends, I am so pleased to be back in 2023 with the Around the World on Wednesday crew, I missed hopping with them all.

This month’s theme is to CASE 9copy and selectively edit) a card from the new catalogues - such a fun theme! Sometimes when a new catalogue comes out and I don't know where to begin with all the new supplies and don’t know where to start. I always go back to the catalogues and start by casing the samples and that gets my creative juices flowing and then I am off!

I chose to CASE this card on page 42 showcasing the Delicate Desert suite. My card looks much darker but I think that has more to do with the photography, the catalogue looks much more pastel.

And here is a close up of my card. I kept the card pretty much the same only changing the background by using the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder instead of the blending.

I had so much fun with all the layers and patterns it was hard to stop!

The fabulous dies do all the work - the layering panels, the flowers and the patterns.

Make sure you keep on hopping through the other blogs - next up is  Danielle Kassing
