Stampers Anonymous Team Blog Hop #57

Hello and welcome to our monthly team blog hop!

This month's theme is a colour challenge. I love these as they make me think outside my comfort zone and use colour combos I might not have even thought of.

This month was an easy one for me as I love these three colours and have been using them a lot lately. I immediately thought of flowers and I have just bought the Darling Details bundle so I knew I wanted to use that too!

I die cut a circle in my card layer and added square of the Bright and Beautiful DSP behind it. This piece has an ombre effect which I thought added to the card without distracting too much from the focal flowers.

I them stamped and die cut both the large and small flowers and die cut some of the floral dies to add behind. I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies bundle using pecan pie ink. I stamped off the inside floral stamp once so the border looks darker. (Also known as second generation stamping)

I added some adhesive backed sparkle gems too as they seemed to match the pecan pie element.
