Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop - Theme Challenge

Hi Stampers and welcome to our monthly Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop. Todays challenge is a really fun one. We have been paired up randomly then had to choose a team member to CASE with the emphasis on COLOUR.  I have been paired up with Tricia Butts in the US. We had a fun chat and learned a bit about each other before deciding on casing our very own Mikaela Titheridge @ The CraftyoINKpen 

I couldn't go past this cute Taco card and was delighted when Tricia loved it too! We decided to CASE this layout and use our favourite colours Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock (another fun fact that we both love the same colours!) Oh happy days :)

So choosing the colours and layout was done but I needed to choose a stamp set too! I decided on the Welcome Home stamp set as this has a few fun images to play with. I stamped and coloured the images with my blends (my favourite colouring medium). I did also add in some fresh freesia and crumb cake. 

I loved the way Mikaela's card had the variety of colours and sizes of strips down the left hand side so I plated around with some DSP and the Basic Borders dies. I then added some Lost Lagoon bordered ribbon to add a bit more texture and interest.  I added a heap of bling to the flowers too.
