Coffee Cafe mini cup and gift card holder

I can't seem to stop creating with the Coffee Cafe bundle! I am seeing all sorts of wonderful designs all over the internet and I want to try them all. 

I kept being drawn to Dawn Griffith's blog - she did a few days of multiple projects using this bundle. I needed to make a thankyou card for the team manager for my daughter's basketball team and when I found out her gift was a gift card I couldnt resist making this mini coffee cup to match.

I love finding ways to wrap gift vouchers to make them look a little more special. I am going to make up a batch for Christmas for sure.

The mini coffee cups can be found at packaging supply shops or on ebay. They are 4oz cups with lids. This one I was lucky enough to find already patterned so I didnt feel the need to cover it - I just added a circle of designer series paper to the lid.

Coffee Cafe card class

Phew, try saying that fast 5 times!!

We had a card class yesterday and the theme was coffee - showcasing the adorable Coffee Cafe suite. So much fun!! 

First I made some treats for the girls - they love a little bit of chocolate whilst they craft! The mini coffee cup is die cut from the designer series paper. The banner and sentiment are from Badges and Banners and I used the Best Badge punch to cut them out. Quick and easy favours!

 This card is also a gift card holder. The gift card tucks away inside the card behind the coffee cup.

Thanks a  Latte - we can all use thank you cards.

Happy Father's Day Dad!

Happy Father's Day to all the fab Dads out there!

My Dad loves coffee so I wanted to create something with the Coffee Cafe bundle. But now it seems I cant put the set down - I've been having way too much fun! We are using this bundle in class this week so I'll wait to show you some more creations then. This set is so much more than coffee though - think milkshakes, iced drinks and even little ice cream cups. The tiny coffee cups framelit matches some of the images on the designer series paper.

I wanted to make something a bit more masculine so I CASED this card from a fellow demonstrator but I cannot find her original creation to link to. Please let me know if you know who it is, I would love to give her credit. 

Using the wood textures designer series papers (DSP) makes this quite striking I think!

I wanted to use the Happy Father's Day sentiment from the Guy Greeting set but it was too long so after I stamped it I chopped it up into smaller pieces and attached it a bit more haphazardly. It's a good trick to remember when looking for the perfect sentiment that's the right size/shape or you only want part of the sentiment.

This bundle has a coordinating stamp set in the new Holiday Catalogue called Merry Cafe (page 46) which will make some awesome Christmas cards for the coffee lovers amongst us. And there are a few tea images and other sentiments too for those who prefer tea, cider, chocolate etc.
